Learning Quests for Gifted Pupils

Fire them up with the Learning Quests for Gifted Pupils series. Catering for individual needs, this resource provides opportunities for pupils to plan Learning Quests on interest topics they are passionate about. Pupils are encouraged to develop critiquing skills and compassion, while actively researching their topic and, monitoring and assessing their learning.

Debbie Smith is a New Zealand-trained and fully registered teacher with a passion for gifted and talented education, educational technologies, online learning, and special needs. She has been a regular contributor to Tall Poppies and other magazines, and online groups associated with Gifted Education. Debbie just wants to be 'an extra pair of hands' for dedicated teachers trying to understand the unique needs of gifted and talented students. She currently writes a blog thinkersonline.wordpress.com to provide insights for teachers of the gifted students, who may need to think about these special people from another viewpoint.
